Alumni Newsletter
We all know how important word-of-mouth referrals are to recruiting. Every day that you can sustain relationships with Alumni is another day they're sharing their experience with others. What better way to keep in touch than a simple Alumni Newsletter? English Programs for Internationals at the University of South Carolina posts a very nice PDF newsletter on their site, which is also available to their alumni database via email. Take a look if you have a minute - it's very well done! Click here to see the newsletters.

Survey Results: Lead Management

Last month we asked readers how they manage prospective student leads. One-third said they use a database management system, while half use something simpler such as Outlook or Excel. A good database management system will allow you to very easily gather, store and use information for marketing purposes. The best databases gather data on their own, preferably from your website, allow you to easily sort that data and then give you the ability to proactively use that data for batch emails and promotional campaigns.
