Information Request Forms
Web sites have come a long way the past few years. Initially, the focus was on flashy design or large amounts of content. Now schools are realizing their site shouldn't only give information, but collect it as well. A crucial component of this is an easy-to-find contact form. Hunter College recently launched a new site with a great form accessible directly from the home page. We recommend you check it out when you can. Look for the big orange button! It's hard to miss.  www.eslnyc.com

Survey Results: How Many Clicks to Apply?

Last month we asked readers how many clicks it takes to get from their homepage to their application form. An overwhelming 82% said 1 or 2. This is good news as you want your application process to be as simple as possible. If you don't have a link to your application on every single page of your site you're definitely missing opportunities.

Happy recruiting!

English, baby! Mentioned on NPR

Last month Pacific Time, an NPR show, did a piece on the decline of international student enrollment in the U.S. They did an excellent job portraying the state of the industry, interviewing key players who accurately discussed the issues at hand. English, baby!'s marketing tools were given a special mention as a new method to increase enrollment. You can listen to the entire piece at the address below. The show date was 4/29.

The piece is called Asian Students Think Twice About Coming to U.S. www.kqed.org/pacifictime
