Simple is Best
One of the keys to a good web site is simplicity. Minimizing text and having photos is a great way to keep information simple and easily accessible. UCLA's American Language Center does a great job of this on their homepage. With photos displayed in a friendly manner and a clean navigation system, their web site visitors quickly find what they're looking for while getting a very positive impression of the program. We recommend you take a look.

July Survey Results: Did your enrollment numbers rise this summer?
Last month we asked readers whether or not they saw a rise in their enrollment numbers this summer compared to last. We're very happy to report that 40% said yes. It's taking a long time to recover from the recent downfall, but trends are showing a positive future. Many programs have undergone a painful restructuring process, but the silver lining is that the more changes you've made, the more efficient your program is. As numbers rebound, you'll be far ahead of where you were three years ago.
