Less Is More!
With so many wonderful things to share about your program, it's tempting to list all of them on your homepage. However, nothing is more intimidating to a prospective student than a text-heavy page they can't understand. The key is to keep the layout and content simple. A great example of a clean, concise homepage is that of the University of Houston's Language and Culture Center. We recommend you take a look.  www.lcc.uh.edu

Survey Results: Inquiry Response System

Last month we asked readers how they responded to inquiries from their website. 64% said they send at least one follow-up email after sending an initial response. This is an essential component of your sales strategy. With the right database software, following up with prospects is relatively simple and produces significant results. All of the major for-profit education institutions have monthly campaigns, reaching every single person who has ever inquired about the program. There's a reason for that - it works.

Happy recruiting!
