"The Versation Alumni Network Web tool allows our students to keep in contact with each other long after they have graduated from our program, creating an ever-growing ELI Alumni online community. The first week of every new session, I invite our students to the computer lab, I get them all to register on the Alumni Web site and show them how to take of advantage of all the great features that make this site attractive to college-age students. It's easy to help even English beginners through the registration and student profile process because their are instructions in 7 languages. Then I upload their student ID photos through the user-friendly photo and news update functions. I really appreciate the fact I can do this myself. Once they are registered I can now keep in contact with them, along with all the previously registered alumni, through the Versation newsletter function, which makes sending mass distribution e-mail quick and simple.
